Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Alpha Tango Drone Services (“Alpha Tango,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy applies to at-drone.com, our learning platform at aviation.at-drone.com, and any related services we operate.

1. Information you give us

  • Account and purchase information — name, email address, and the details needed to create your student account. An account is created automatically when you complete a purchase.
  • Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe. Alpha Tango does not receive or store your full card number. We retain the order record: items purchased, amount, date, and order number.
  • Learning activity — lessons completed, quiz and practice-exam attempts and scores, course progress, and any completion certificate issued.
  • Communications — messages you send to support@at-drone.com.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect technical information: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of requests. We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions (staying logged in, keeping items in your cart), for analytics, and for advertising measurement.

3. Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how people find and use our site and to measure our advertising. These services set cookies and may receive your device identifiers and browsing activity on our site.
Where enabled, we use Google’s enhanced conversions feature: when you complete a purchase, your email address is converted into an irreversible, hashed value before being sent to Google so a sale can be matched to an advertisement. Google does not receive your email address in readable form through this feature.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out add-on, and manage personalized advertising at myadcenter.google.com.

4. Email

We send and receive email in connection with your account and purchases — including order confirmations, password-setup links, and course notifications. These service messages are part of your purchase and are not marketing.

5. How we use your information

  • To deliver the courses you purchased and track your progress
  • To create and secure your account, and to process payments and refunds
  • To provide support and respond to your messages
  • To measure and improve our website, courses, and advertising
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed:

PROVIDER PURPOSE
Stripe Payment processing
Hostinger Website hosting
Google (Analytics, Ads) Analytics and advertising measurement

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account and learning records for as long as your account exists, because our products include long-term access to purchased material. Order records are retained as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. You may ask us to delete your account — see section 9.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access controls, and payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

  • Access or correct your account information by logging in, or by emailing us
  • Request deletion of your account and personal data (this ends access to purchased courses; we may retain order records where the law requires)
  • Opt out of marketing email at any time via the unsubscribe link
  • Control cookies through your browser settings

If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives you rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to appeal a refused request. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you comparable rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@at-drone.com. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time the applicable law requires.

10. Children’s privacy

Our courses and store are intended for adults. The FAA requires you to be at least 16 years old to obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate. We do not knowingly sell to, or collect personal information from, children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email support@at-drone.com and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

Our site links to third-party resources, including FAA websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; read their policies.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above shows when. Material changes will be posted on this page.
