What is the Youth Drone Initiative ?
The FAA’s Youth Drone Initiative is designed to foster collaboration, share best practices, and help youth organizations develop drone programs as a pathway to aviation careers.

Through this initiative, schools and clubs can access resources, guidance, and a network of peers, allowing students (ages ~11-18) to gain exposure to UAV technology, safety awareness, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) learning opportunities. Federal Aviation Administration+1

Who Can Partner
We welcome collaboration with:
- K-12 schools (public, private, charter)

- Homeschool co-ops and enrichment groups
- Robotics clubs, maker spaces
If your organization educates or gathers students in the
11–18 age range and wants to integrate drones (or
